Above the village of Vlacherna at a height of 1,150 m stands the imposing rock of Bezenikos. On this hill, where the medieval castle of Bezenikos stood, is also the monastery of Agia Eleusa with an excellent view of the plain. From the village of Vlaherna there is a road that leads to the Monastery. The catholicon of the monastery, built into the rock, dates back to the beginning of the 14th century BC. century and is preserved to this day. The monastery no longer functions and in general has the image of complete abandonment.
