The abandoned monastery of 'Ag. Georgiou Endyssenas you will meet it as you come from Tyros towards Ag. Andrea. The road is uphill, with bends and many branches.
The distance to the Monastery is 7 km, but you will be compensated by the unique view!.. From above you will see the Argolic gulf stretching on the horizon, from Nafplio to Spetses, while the plain of Thyrea as well as the mountain peaks can also be seen of the hinterland.
The monastery is inconspicuous from a distance. Theorata plane trees surround it providing coolness and shade while the crystal water of a spring will cool you down.
The church has been repaired, has a pitched tiled roof and a niche in the sanctuary. Written testimonies about the monastery exist from 1792 until 1833, when it was dissolved. However, for the locals even today it is a place of unique recreation and is often visited for the view and the idyllic green landscape.
