North from the settlement of Agios Pneumat, on a pine-covered hill 450m high. Opposite the Monastery of the Holy Cross, is the monastery of Prophet Ilias. The monastery was built in 1911 and houses eight nuns. During the recent restoration of the monastery, a new cruciform church with a dome was added to the same building complex, dedicated to Panagia Myrtidiotissa, which houses the icon of the Virgin Mary, which is considered miraculous. The church of Prophet Elias is a three-aisled basilica, with a wooden roof, with a raised roof in the central aisle and three rows of windows on all sides, while on the outside the longitudinal sides correspond to arcades supported on square built pillars.
