This is the women's Monastery of Genesiou of Theotokos located in the village of Dryovouno at an altitude of 800 m, on the border with the Prefecture of Kastoria. At this point, there was an older church, with Byzantine frescoes in the holy pulpit, which was destroyed. The Monastery ceases to function in 1835. Dionysios from Siatista is mentioned as the last abbot who was hanged. Recently 4 carved tombs, probably of monks, were discovered with coins dating to the early 18th century. In 1969 a new church was built in place of the old one. The Monastery, which was reconstituted in 1993, belongs to the Holy Diocese of Sisaniou & Siatistis. A two-story building is found in the monastery area, probably the cells of the monks and guest houses, while in the central point is the church of Panagia, a single room with a sloping roof. 2 nuns live in the monastery.
