The women's Monastery of Saints Constantine and Helen is located 2 km southeast of the historic village of Vogatsiko, at an altitude of 777 m, and belongs to the Metropolis of Sisani and Siatistis. After the discovery of the miraculous icon in the "Guliasiano" area, at the end of the 19th century, a church was erected in honor of Saint Constantine which soon became a place of pilgrimage for the residents of the area. Hostels were gradually built for the accommodation of the pilgrims as well as a larger church, a single-aisled basilica, in 1882. In 1975, a new church was erected under Metropolitan Antonio as well as new buildings with the offerings and donations of the residents. The church is single-aisled, cruciform with a dome, with a wood-carved iconostasis and a spacious narthex. The miraculous icon (15 X 25 cm.) has a silver coating and depicts Saints Constantine & Helen with royal crown. The icon is kept in the catholicon in a silver compass and probably dates back to the Byzantine years. In 2005, the Monastery was reconstituted by decision of the Diocese of Sisaniou and Siatistis. It celebrates with great celebration on May 21.
