The building of the Ursuline Monastery is located in the village of Loutra. The Ursuline Monastery was founded in 1862 and many daughters of well-known Greek families studied there. In the past, it also functioned as an orphanage, a boarding school, a French High School, a university, a Greek primary school, a school of tapestry and sewing. The Nuns have moved to the town of Tinos since the early 80's. Nowadays, in the grounds of the Monastery, the Primary School of the Municipality of Exomburgos operates, while there is a building complex that houses a guest house, a theater and a pharmacy. A permanent exhibition is held in the summer months.
