Near the picturesque harbor of Naoussa, there is the Catholic church of Agios Georgios which dates back to the 16th century. Inside the church are preserved the tombs of the last duke of Paros, Bernardo Sagredo, and the pirate Augustino Grevelier. In 1770, when the Russians occupied Paros, the temple was destroyed. It was repaired a few years later, but over the years it suffered many damages and remained half-demolished until 1980, when it was repaired by decision of the archdiocese. It is worth visiting to admire its rich interior decoration.
