On the southwest side of Naoussa, on a hill, is located the Monastery of Agios Andreas. The monastery was built in 1648 and the construction of the church was completed in 1711 at the expense of the abbot Kon. Fokianos, whose tomb is on the floor of the katholikon. At the beginning of the 19th century, the monastery belonged to captain Loukas Sfaelos, while today it is the property of the Zoumi family from the village of Lefkes. The Monastery has high walls. The church, dedicated to Saint Andrew, is inscribed cruciform with a dome. The wood-carved iconostasis, the despotic throne and the embossed name (on the facade of the church) are of interest. The church celebrates on November 30.
