In the place of Dobritsi Riachovou, which belongs to the Pogoni area of the prefecture of Ioannina, is the Holy Monastery of Agios Georgios Riachovou, in a magical natural environment. The monastery was founded and started to be built in March 1998 and was completed in December 2004, under the care and supervision of Priest Ioannis St. Besio, vicar of Riachovo. Riachovou Monastery belongs to the Metropolis of Ioannina and within the short period of its operation it has demonstrated a truly remarkable work.
There are in the monastery outside the holy temple, spaces available for many activities, such as: Amphitheater for cultural events, recreational areas, basketball court, playground, etc. The monastery operates a guest house for the accommodation of abandoned elderly people of the area, which can accommodate a total of 20 people. The guest house has 8 double rooms and one triple room. The area is very interesting for the visitor, as he can enjoy the nature with the beautiful forests of the area, the quietness of the area, the water from the springs of the area, etc.
