In the southern part of Lefkada, near the village of Agios Ilias, the church of Agia Paraskevi is built in a ravine of Mount Stavrota. The village of Agios Ilias of the Municipality of Apollonia is located at an altitude of 620 m and is considered one of the most mountainous villages of Lefkada. There was an older church of Agia Paraskevi on the site. The newest church of the 20th century. it is stone-built, single-bay, with a sloping tiled roof and has a low stone wall with a stone vaulted entrance. It celebrates on July 26, with a traditional three-day festival, as well as on May Day.
