The Holy Monastery of Agia Kyriaki Kouramaden was founded in 1992, and is the newest of the Monasteries of Corfu. The Catholic Church of the Monastery is in the style of a basilica with a dome. Around the temple there are the cells, the mansion, the library, the dining room and the ancillary areas of the Monastery. Within the courtyard area of the Monastery there was a half-destroyed chapel named after Agia Kyriaki, which collapsed in 1995 under the pressure of bad weather conditions. The Monastery celebrates the 7th of July, the feast of the Holy Great Martyr Kyriaki.
