The dissolved monastery of Agia Varvara is located in the Skripero area of the Municipality of Paleokastritsa. Its construction dates back to the 19th century. Until 1940 it functioned as a men's monastery and was then abandoned. The site is walled and includes a ground floor building and the church of Agia Barbara. The church, white in color, is tall, of large dimensions with a bell tower and a sloping roof.
