At an altitude of 460 meters, some kilometers south of the village of Vourliotes in a beautiful forest area, is the Vronta Monastery. It was created in 1566 and is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Many frescoes and sacred utensils, as well as the amazing view to the north and east, from where you can see the coasts of Asia Minor, give this monastery a special air.
