One of the largest villages of Tinos is Pyrgos. It is one of the most picturesque villages of the Cyclades, with whitewashed houses and traditional architecture. It is considered a village of artists since there is the house of the famous sculptor, Halepa, which is preserved as a museum, as well as many sculpture workshops.
