The capital of Santorini, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful settlements in Greece - along with Oia. Fira is built in a very impressive location on the steep cliffs on the brow of the caldera, at a height of 260m. The port of Chora is the bay of Fira, from where you can go up to Chora by cable car, donkey or on foot for the more daring! The view of the ocean is so eye-catching that if you choose the last way to climb, be very careful and keep your eyes on the front - the cliff is steep and unguarded.
