Worship was practiced in this cave from the Neolithic era until the 5th century. BC It is located 1 km south of Amnisos and was dedicated to the patron goddess of childbirth, Eileithyia. The archaeological dig brought to light figurines of women in the position of childbirth, while nursing or being bound, figurines of animals, Neolithic shells and tools.
