At the top of the hill of Chora is the Castle with ruins of the Venetian castle, built in 1434 by the Mikieli family, while at the highest point of the rock is the church of Agios Konstantinos and Agios Giannis the Theologians, built in the hollow of a rock and according to tradition on the ruins of the ancient temple of Athena.
