The ancient city of Heraion, located near Loutraki, is an important destination for the visitor with great archaeological and historical interest. In this area, among other things, a harbor portico and foundations of sanctuaries of Hera of Limenia and Hera of Akraia have been discovered. From Loutraki one can visit the Alkyonides Islands and enjoy the wonderful beaches.
