ANCIENT KIONIA (Archaeological Site) - Tinos

The Kionia region takes its name from the ancient columns found there. One of the largest and most famous temples, it was built in honor of Poseidon, who in ancient times was the protector of the island. Ruins of the temple are preserved to this day in this place, about 3 km from today's Chora, on the sea.
