On top of a mountain at the location of Agia Marina ruins of the ancient city (probably market and temple of Pythian Apollo). Lower, in the ancient cemetery, a temple-shaped burial building of the 3rd c. AD, later a Christian church, included in the Episkopi monastery. On the islet, at the E. end of Akrotiri Malta, at Paleokastro, remains of an ancient fortified settlement.
