At the top of Cape Cyclops there is another circular tower, the Tower or Throne of Cyclops (or Psaropyrgos) which supervised the smooth operation of the mines, but also the port of Megali Livadi. You can visit it by driving or walking on a dirt road with good passability. According to legend, Cape Cyclops is the rock that Polyphemus threw to Odysseus as he was leaving the island.
