From the ancient city of Korissia, parts of the wall, the acropolis and a temple, perhaps of Smithian Apollo, are preserved today in the settlement of Livadiou. Under the hill of the city was found the marble archaic Kouros of Kea, a wonderful example of a local sculpture workshop (exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum, Athens).
