Antiparos

SALIAGKOS (Archaeological Site)

A skerry between Paros and Antiparos. Residential remains of the latest Neolithic (5300 - 4500 BC), constitute the earliest known settlement in the Cyclades. The settlement was surrounded by a wall and had rectangular houses with stone foundations. Its character was shaped by influences coming from both sides of the Aegean. Finds at the Archaeological Museum of Paros.
