At the confluence of the Kalpakiotikos, in the Kalamas river very close to the modern Kalamas dam, Titani was built around 330 BC, which became the seat of the "Council of Thesprotes". The partially uncovered ancient theater, outside the walls of the ancient settlement, was used in addition to theatrical events for political gatherings.
