13 kilometers from the capital of Samos, Pythagoreion is located. A truly impressive place of great archaeological interest. Parts of battlements, Roman baths, ruins of palaces and other important finds of antiquity can be admired by the visitor, while the fact that Herodotus describes it as one of the greatest technical wonders of Samos shows the real value of this place.
