BREXIZA
A sanctuary dedicated to the Egyptian deities and a Roman Valanium, founded by Herod Atticus (2nd century AD) were discovered at the "Mikron élos" site.
The visit to the Museum and the archaeological sites of Marathon can be combined with leisure trips to the beautiful beach of the bay of the same name or with a visit to the lake of Marathon or to the enchanting beach of Schinias. Also very close, the beach of Marathon (Ag. Panteleimon) with market, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The Archaeological Museum is 15 km from the port of Rafina, 25 km from Athens International Airport and 42 km from the center of Athens.
